Where the two meet

Conservatory out. Patio in.

Plenty of SRH jobs cross the back step. A conservatory comes down and an Indian sandstone patio goes in where it stood. An extension goes up, and the paving goes down outside its new doors. It’s the same firm on site either side of the glass.

03One job, start to finish

Hit by a car. Rebuilt to the curve.

This curved front garden wall came down when a car went into it. SRH took it back and rebuilt it on its original line, with the blue-brick base and the brick-on-edge top it had before. A curved wall can’t be set out with a straight line and a level, so it’s a good test of a bricklayer.

Sam Huntington and a young team.

SRH Building & Landscaping is Sam Huntington’s company, based in Carlton on the east side of Nottingham. In their own words, they’re a young, passionate team of builders and landscapers, and the work runs from installing RSJs to full garden renovations.
